Family Christmas picture take 20...

It was rough trying to get one picture with everyone in it looking at the camera and their eyes open.  

I actually love these pictures even though they aren't Christmas card material. 

I know I am in the trenches of motherhood as they say. 

Aaron's face kills me in the middle picture.

At least my girl Brin would pose with me for a few.

We snatched a kissing with mommy and daddy because we forgot/ the camera died when we did remember.

In the picture behind us is there grandfather clock they received when they got married.

Grandparents

All the kids ready to attend the White's Christmas neighbor party. 

You all have some of the most wonderful Grandparents! When we arrived to Richfield they ran outside to the van they was so excited. They couldn't wait to see all grand-kids. They loved on each of the older kids. I told them, "I have to nurse Jacob as soon as we get inside." 

We all got inside the building and seated. I started to get Jacob out and Grandma Jo caught a glimpse of Jacob let out a squeal she was so excited. She thought you were huge compared to when she saw you last. 

Grandpa has always taken a nap with each grand-baby. Here he is with Jacob. 

They were asleep then I got out the camera and they awoke.

 At Red Rock Pediatrics with Dr. Kaddu

Dr. Kaddu thought you were doing wonderful. He commented on how calm you were. You went through the entire exam with out voicing a peep. Dr. Kaddu also asked if you were the most mild mannered of the kids. Now that I think about it you probably are.

What a blessing to have you!
You are getting more expressive in your face.
You still make really cute baby sounds: yawns, squeaks, coos, and goos.

We had your brothers and sisters with us.

This picture was after your immunizations. For the oral one you didn't like the taste, but the MA did a great job and was patient giving you a little at a time. You of coarse wondered what happened when you got the shots. You calmed down quickly after I picked you up. I nursed you and got you dressed. Then we shot a few more pictures. 

You fell asleep in your carrier. When you woke up and started to move you could feel your sore lets. For the rest of the day you scram every time you started to move your legs. We rubbed your leg muscles to try and disperse the vaccine. I found some positions to hold you that were comfortable. The next day you were still a bit sore, but you were back to your happy self.

Some Beau Synonyms: sweetheart, darling, dandy.

Definition of  dandy: an excellent thing of its kind.

Grandpa Winn, I think you would agree when I say,  "Jacob is a dandy."

Infact I think you would say, "A Jim dandy!"

Monday Morsels 01/05/2015

:::Emsley:::

01. This week she read to Jacob about 8 of her sight word books. He loved it!

02. She loves to have a dance party with her family.

:::James:::

01. Is sooo head strong and independent most of the time. We just need to

 put that drive to some goals.

02. He is working on manners at the table and getting better at making less of a mess.

03. Has loved his Christmas present from Grandma Mairiam, and has been really nice about sharing with his sisters.

:::Brinley:::

01. She is putting more words together. 

02. She has empathy. If she sees someone sad she wants to love them and help them feel better.

03. A couple weeks ago has become independent at opening door knobs.

:::Jacob:::

01. He is gaining more control of his limbs. Little man has found his hands. 

It is so adorable how he grasps his hands together and looks at them.

Sometimes he even gets them in his mouth.

02. He has sucked in his bottom lip and held it there(or maybe he is sucking on it). 

Emsley pointed this fact out to me then I saw him do it again.

03. His face is getting so round and chubby.

04. Emsley and James have let him hold a toy of theirs. They get so 

excited and say, "Mom look he is holding the ___. "
