Baby Shower

I got a new Visiting Teaching partner and she is expecting her first child.

Emsley and I attended a shower held in her honor. It was nicely done. The theme was things that go POP!

She looks great and is due mid April. Lots of yummy treats and some wraps to snack on.

We decided to use another gift card Aaron got at work in Dec. by going to red lobster....

I didn't get out the camera until dessert...Can you tell its Jame's turn to get a bite of dessert...

I remember the soup I got, bacon potato and Aaron clam chowder both were delish... and so was the simple Cesar salad... but I can't remember the main dish...hmmm... I thought the kids would down the cheddar bay biscuits I was wrong... guess if they have a choice they will probably pick Olive Garden over Red Lobster.

Brinley Beautiful in Red

Gearing up for Valentines day I got some pictures of Brinley in red...I put the other kids in Valentine attire but they proved to be to difficult in getting any photos of them. I love at this stage how I can get as many pictures as I want with because she is so stationary.

When being held with her head in the crook of my elbow Brinley loves to cock back her head to look around and seems comfortable doing so.

My New Dishwasher

Meet my new dishwasher James. He loves to play in water.He loves to put water in containers and transfer water to other containers...

I thought I would put that love of water to work. Now if only the water could stay in the sink.

 Snuggles

These two get to snuggle and talk and giggle oh to have a sister...

Notice what Em is wearing...a dress up wedding gown we purchased at a yard sale almost three years ago.
She is obsessed and for spurts at a time will wear it daily...sometimes also used as pajamas. I have to sneakily put it into the laundry to be washed.

Also Notice Brin she is obsessed with her hands it is so adorable. In all but the first pic she is playing with her hands. She also loves to grab onto others hands. I have had to start trimming her nails more. One day I let her play with my hands and ended up with some scratches from her. It was actually tender...when I would look down I would be reminded of her.

As I look at these photos I think, "I need to get more photos of all three."

I ended up with 3 good ones out of 7 photos taken. Even when I went to Sears for Christmas photos of all three when they showed me the ones they got I really didn't love any of them. There is always one of them not looking at the camera, not smiling, eyes closed etc. Maybe practice makes perfect? Maybe I need to have them together in one spot more often and take pictures. I like candid photos but it would be nice to have a few a year with all of them in the same photo where they are happy and you can see their faces.

Note to self... get more pictures with all three kids in photo.
